The following examples are not intended for the general public as they reference materials that were created for a client under an NDA agreement and in some cases were strictly for research and development purposes as proof of concept or a functional MVP prototype.
In June of 2021 I was contacted by a representative of RIIS LLC about an opportunity to work with a new group within Verizon that was focusing on cutting edge technology related to the newly rolled out 5G network. As a member of the 5G Disruption, RBT and IncubedIT teams we were tasked at looking for new ways to leverage their network capabilities across various market segments.

For the first 6 months I was assigned to 2 different development teams where I provided research and UI/UX recommendations as well as finished Figma files for both presentation to leadership for approval and handoff to the development team for eventual use in the application prototype and demos.
For the next 9 months I was assigned to the IncubedIT and Robotics Business Technology (RBT) where I worked directly with the Product Managers on the review and assessment of both the IncubedIT (AMR) fleet management platform and the Skyward (UAV) flight management platform and it’s possible integration with a new robotics platform.
The goal of this project was to identify specific market segments, interview users in the field to build out detailed personas and Jobs to be Done to identify how these platforms worked (or didn’t work) and what an ideal solution would look like.
The result of this work let to extensive documentation as both an assessment of the current platforms as well as comparisons to competitive products and recommendations for development of a new platform while incorporating industry leading best practices of each.
Ultimately, Verizon decided to shut down Skyward over the summer of 2022 and a number of other NBI initiatives were slated for shutdown at the end of September and my contract was not renewed.
In November of 2018 I was contacted by Wedoo.it, the Italian advertising agency for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) with offices in the metro Detroit area. While working at a prior agency (Duffey Petrosky) as Technology Director I had worked closely with Chrysler on several employee-facing campaigns and had a good deal of experience working within their platform (Interwoven, Lotus, Sharepoint, WordPress, etc.) particularly the employee dashboard.
When FCA decided to move it’s employee facing portal to the Google-based LumApps platform they went to Wedoo.it to oversee and manage the project including inventorying all of the existing applications and functions of the current dashboard. This required working with representatives of each of the different business units within FCA North America.

The project kicked off in 2019 with research and development and active development began shortly afterwards. Initially I was tasked with identifying what applications were going to need to be moved to the new platform, what group had ownership of the data and work with development to migrate, format and integrate that data into the new UI.
