I was living and working in Chicago during the early to late-1990’s and continued carrying my camera with me as I biked my way around the city when the weather permitted. I initially lived in the River West neighborhood which was transitioning from warehouses to lofts and mixed-use space.
The photo lab I was working at during that time was one of the few that was still doing Cibachrome printing and I was interested to see what I could do by shooting color positive film (Ektachrome) in addition to B&W film. It was shortly after this I made the switch to digital going into the 2000’s.
